Ceramic Veneers Near You

Veneers are thin pieces of durable ceramic material that are custom-made to fit your tooth. The material is translucent which creates a natural look, similar to your other teeth.

Ceramic veneers are recommended for several reasons, including:

  • To repair a chipped or broken tooth.
  • To enhance the aesthetic (look) of a tooth that is misshapen or discoloured.
  • To increase the size of a small tooth or reduce the size of a large tooth.
  • To close the gaps between front teeth.

A ceramic veneer procedure involves two visits to the dentist. Your first visit involves a digital scan that will be used in the fabrication of your custom-made veneer. In some cases, molds (or impressions) will be used to provide this information. While the tooth is numb the dentist will remove any weakened areas of the teeth. The tooth is carefully prepared to fit the custom-made ceramic veneer. Once this is complete a temporary veneer will be placed which allows you to chew and function gently in the area. A dental laboratory receives the scan, or impressions, and proceeds with the fabrication of the ceramic veneer.

At the second appointment, which occurs approximately 10 days later, the temporary veneer is gently removed, the tooth is cleaned, and the new veneer is placed. The dentist will carefully inspect the area to ensure the spacing and the fit are accurate. Instructions will be given on how to take care of your new custom-made veneer.

Ceramic veneers make your teeth look amazing. They cover stains, chips, and gaps, giving you a perfect smile. Plus, they’re super durable and can last for many years with good care.

Veneers and crowns are like cousins. Veneers cover just the front of your tooth, while crowns cover the whole tooth. Veneers are great for minor issues, while crowns are for more significant damage.

Nope, you won’t get cavities with veneers because they’re like shields for your teeth! But you still need to brush and floss to keep your natural teeth healthy and prevent cavities there.

Dental veneers have lots of advantages. They can fix stains, chips, and gaps in your teeth, making your smile look perfect. They’re also durable and can last for many years, giving you a long-lasting, beautiful smile.

First, your dentist takes impressions of your teeth. Then, they send the impressions to a dental lab, where skilled technicians make your custom veneers. Once ready, your dentist bonds the veneers to your teeth, and voila! You have a gorgeous new smile.
